Description : Chang Lab At Rowan University School Of Osteopathic Medicine Is Seeking A Postdoctoral Fellow For Study Microbe-Neuron-Immune Interactions.
The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research in neuron-immune axis of host-pathogen interactions. The fellow shall have technical and theoretical knowledge related to genetics, molecular biology and cell biology. Hands-on experience with common techniques in molecular biology and fluorescence microscopy is required.
Specific tasks will include: design and perform experiments, collection and analysis of data, preparation of reports for peer-reviewed scientific publications, conference presentations, and grant progress reports. The fellow will have opportunities to mentor technicians and graduate students.

Ph.D. degree (within 5 years) with major in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, neurobiology or related fields. Prior research experience in the areas of model organism system, genetics, neurobiology, and/or host-pathogen interactions. Previous research experience in C. elegans genetics and/or neurobiology will receive first consideration.
